Passion Career

Have you truly taken the time to think about what kind of life you’d like to have? What do you truly love doing? What brings you joy and happiness and a profound sense of accomplishment?

Many people don’t know the answer to these questions, and that’s a shame. We are told from a young age that we should pursue a career based solely on the amount of money or prestige it offers. As hard as this is to believe, money and fame don’t actually make people happy.

Countless people are pursuing big-shot careers, some of them famous - some of them not - who do not enjoy their life. They are pursuing a dream that isn’t even theirs. They make great money, have a nice house, a fancy car, and get to go on expensive vacations every year, and yet they feel empty inside. How can this be? How can someone who seemingly has it all be miserable?

When we don’t pursue our passion and use our God-given gifts, no amount of money, prestige, or fame will bring us a sense of purpose and joy. For that, we MUST walk our own path. We MUST tune out the voices that tell us our value and worth are measured by our bank account and by the car we drive.

Each of us has a gift, skill, or talent that makes us unique from others. It is something we are born with, but it may be lying dormant due to a lack of opportunities to unveil it. Or maybe we haven’t tapped into our gifts and skills due to a fear of others’ opinions or a fear of failing. You have a gift it needs to be activated!
